Yesterday the Berliners celebrated the twentieth anniversary of the fall of the Berlin wall. I arrived in Berlin just over nine years ago to help run the Buddhist Gate Berlin, a public centre run by the Friends of the Western Buddhist Order. To celebrate my tenth anniversary of living here in September next year, I have decided to participate in the Berlin marathon. At the same time I hope to raise some funds towards the cost of the new Buddhist Gate Berlin, new premises we have bought and hope to move into around the start of 1011. Starting up
